I voted today and so should you. I am pretty clear on where I stand and most people in my orbit and community don’t need a reminder - but just in case….
You don’t have to love any one candidate or agree with every policy or every stance any one candidate makes.
You have to choose - to go further you have the RIGHT to choose - to have a voice for the party that aligns with what you believe this country should be. That hasn’t always been true for women or minorities. Don’t waste your vote or abstain because the world feels in chaos right now, or because you “don’t like either choice”. Don’t give up your right to a vote, don’t let the noise win. Vote!
Women’s rights are on the ballot, LGBTQ+ rights are on the ballot, the future generation’s ability to live in a clean world that isn’t crumbling under global warming is on the ballot, democracy itself, in many ways, is on the ballot.
No one person will influence any of those things alone. Vote for local government that will represent you….just vote.
