Bald eagle soaring over Silver Gate, Montana.
As I’ve mentioned in earlier posts, we don’t see bald eagles very often here in Silver Gate. Great to see one on this beautiful fall day.

We’ve been watching this mountain goat all summer from our kitchen table. He shows up on Amphitheater Mountain every few days, always alone, grazing on the greenery. We named him Goaty McGoatface. We’ll miss him now that the snow has arrived. See you in the spring, Goaty!🙂
