A NEW CHAPTER 🤍
I can finally say it: I am officially a full-time photographer.
And honestly, that still feels surreal.
If you had told me a few years ago that I would one day photograph weddings full-time, I probably would have laughed. I never saw this coming.
My journey into photography began after my own wedding, following a traumatic experience with my photographer. At the time, I never imagined it would lead anywhere. I certainly never imagined I would build a career around it.
Then my dad passed away, and shortly after, I started college. I was in one of the lowest seasons of my life, and I threw myself into school and photography as distractions from grieving.
But God had a purpose in it that I couldn’t see yet.
Through photography, God has taught me to put others first, give unselfishly of myself, serve well, and be present. He has humbled me and allowed me to witness some of the most meaningful moments in people’s lives. I’ve watched families grow, captured milestones, and been trusted with pieces of people’s stories that I will never take for granted.
I’ve also met some of my greatest friends through this journey.
Looking back, I can see God’s hand in every part of it—the things I never planned, the seasons I didn’t understand, and the camera I picked up without knowing where it would take me.
And now, I’m here.
Full-time photography.
But this milestone doesn’t belong to me.
It belongs to my clients who have trusted me, supported me, welcomed me into their lives, and allowed me to do this work.
And most importantly, it belongs to God.
He gave me this gift, opened these doors, and turned something I never planned into something that has given me so much purpose.
My prayer is that I continue to use what He has given me to glorify Him—to serve others, give generously, put people first, and praise Him through every season.
I never set out to become a wedding photographer. I never imagined photography would become my career.
But God knew.
And I’m so incredibly grateful He did. 🤍
