It is always nerve-wracking, working at a new location (when there is little ability to scope it out beforehand), but I've never been more inspired by nature than I was at the Ramsey Canyon Preserve. There was so much green, and the water was flowing. It was peaceful and magical and watching the children experience this place for the first time was so rewarding!

Weddings are a time of happiness and celebration and love, and this wedding was such a perfect example of everything a wedding should be. There was so much love and joy, and relief. Seeing these two amazing and gorgeous people commit to each other was such an honour, and I am truly blessed to have been a part of their special day.

On September 2nd, I was able to document a special day for two amazing people. This was such a magical and fun experience, and I am so blessed to have been included in the celebrations and to have had the opportunity to be there to help preserve these memories.

I was able to spend some time with this gorgeous family out at Ramsey Canyon Preserve. I had never been there, and was in awe of the beauty! It was amazing to document this special moment (the kids had never been out there either!). We made leaves fly, the eldest girl found a hawk feather - and we even got to see the hawk sitting in a tree near us! It was a truly magical experience, and they were all so much fun to work with!

I am so sorry that this is so late! I have been a bit scatter brained, but I promise that I am back and (mostly) focused! This session took place back in July: I am always on the hunt for new places to have portrait sessions, and a friend of mine has been trying to take me out to the Whitewater Draw in McNeal, AZ for weeks.
