I waited over an hour while lightning struck all around me, just not where the lens was aimed. Rain blurred the sky, and every frame felt like a miss. I almost gave up. Then a rainbow started forming. I dialed in and gave it one last try. That final shot delivered something I didn’t expect: one bold bolt lit up the sky behind the rainbow, with two more in the distance. It’s the kind of moment you don’t plan, you just have to be ready when it shows up.
