🎓 Congratulations to the 2026 Shelby County Deer Hunters Association Scholarship Recipients!
The Shelby County Deer Hunters Association is proud to award three scholarships this year to outstanding Shelby County graduates who are pursuing careers in Wildlife, Natural Resources Conservation, Agriculture, or related fields.
This year’s recipients are:
🌾 Grace Huelskamp – Fairlawn High School
Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering through The Ohio State University’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering.
🌾 Maddox Abke – Fairlawn High School
Pursuing a Business Degree in Agriculture at The Ohio State University.
🐄 Taylor Huelskamp – Botkins High School
Majoring in Animal Bioscience (Pre-Veterinary Medicine) at The Ohio State University’s Agricultural Technical Institute.
These students have distinguished themselves through academic excellence, community involvement, and hands-on experience through employment and volunteer work in the fields they plan to pursue. Their dedication, leadership, and passion make them deserving recipients of this scholarship.
The Shelby County Deer Hunters Association Scholarship Fund was established to support and encourage the next generation of conservationists, agricultural leaders, and outdoor enthusiasts. Through education and stewardship, these students will help preserve our natural resources and continue the traditions that make our outdoor heritage so valuable.
The Association’s mission is to promote fellowship among its members while supporting the protection and preservation of fish, wildlife, and natural resources. By investing in these students, we are helping ensure that future generations will continue to enjoy and protect the outdoors for years to come.
