This session sparked a little fire in me again. ✨
As a photographer, sometimes I find myself burnt out — the same locations, the same poses, the same editing. Somewhere along the way, I realized I needed to mix it up again. I needed to find that spark and let it burn.
This year, I’ve really been trying to slow down and truly hear what a session means to the people I’m capturing. Sometimes it’s more than “just photos.” Sometimes it’s documenting a season of motherhood, tiny hands that won’t stay little, or simply having an excuse to get dressed up and make memories together.
We had the most beautiful time out at Plant Paradise Gardens, soaking in the sunshine, flowers, and even seeing familiar faces we hadn’t seen in a week now that school’s out for summer. 🌼💛 It felt simple, meaningful, and honestly so refreshing for my soul.
This session reminded me why I started doing this in the first place not for perfect poses, but for connection, feeling, and storytelling.
