Kids are always unpredictable. So if we know that ahead of time let’s find ways to help them enjoy their photo session as well.

What I’ve learned after photographing over 300+ families in Arizona over the past last 8 years is that it’s better to let kids be kids.

I love documenting them just how they are now before all the silliness wears off from growth. Let them make goofy faces, let them run like wild feral animals, I’ll find ways to get the shot, just enjoy your time playing with them.

I recently had the privilege of being hired by an amazing couple.

They knew they wanted to do their engagement photos up north in Arizona when they reached out to me.

There was this little beautiful spot that keep popping up on my AllTrails app. I love AllTrails, which I frequently use , to find great photo shoot locations in Northern Arizona.

The location was Thompson Trail in Greer, Arizona.
I’ve been obsessing about this place since we moved up north to our small family Homestead near Showlow, Arizona.

The day drive over was perfect. The weather was amazing and oh my goodness I’m obsessing on all these gorgeous photos.
