The jaw-dropping sight of Shiprock was the highlight of my trip to New Mexico over the summer. It was a spiritual experience in the open air of the Colorado Plateau. The only sounds to be heard were of the air passing by. A 4-hour tour seemed a bit long…turns out it wasn’t long enough.

You shouldn’t visit this iconic volcanic remnant without a guide from . It made our visit all the more meaningful.
