The National Parks are open again but I can’t imagine how crowded they are right now. Rocky Mountain National Park is always a favorite and this is one of my shots of Alberta Falls near Bear Lake. It’s a great hike and you can continue even further up then mountain.

While in Phoenix earlier this year, I took a 40 minute drive east to the Tonto National Forest with the vision of taking a sunset shot of the Goldfield Mountains reflected in the Lower Salt River. I took my time to scout out a spot and took a pano and then stitched it together. Really happy with how it came out

The flowing waters of the Oconaluftee River in the Smokey Mountains. This was actually shot a number of years ago but I reprocesses the image and really like it. I particularly love the green moss on all the boulders. If COVID keeps up, I may have to find a AirBNB in this part of the world as we get closer to fall.

I used to live within a short walk of this waterfall. And I do love taking pictures of waterfalls. I love how I can do a long exposure and blend the water to a smooth stream.

Unfortunately this spot is always packed with people though it probably isn’t right now. So I need to remind myself to take advantage of spots like this particularly being in the middle of the city.

The new world we live in revolves around social distancing. This photo I took in the Great Barrier Reef definitely represents a feeling of solitude.

It also has made me decide to start sharing my work more often on Instagram to help brighten our lives and remind us of the world out there waiting for us to return.
