This was one of the most precious sibling duos ever. They have a baby brother, but he's more of a mama's boy still. But these two... I love the organic connection that siblings share. You can always tell which ones actually choose to play with each other and are close away from the camera, too. And, you can also tell that she feels safe and comforted by her big brother, which I think is extra special. As a little girl who grew up with nothing but adoration for my big brother, too, these made me feel a little nostalgic.

My outdoor shooting season is in full swing, but I still have. a few openings and would love to add more sessions to my calendar this year. Whether it's for family, maternity, couple, childhood, or anything in between, I'd love to chat more with you about a session! Get in touch!

You know what stinks? Sometimes I have to share things I don't want to share here. Not because I don't love you all, but because I want this space to be light and joyful. But, as life goes, not everything is always sunshine and rainbows.

Over the weekend my husband was involved in a dirt biking accident. After a massive surgery and several days in the hospital, we were finally able to come home today. We are counting our blessings and giving thanks that things weren't even worse, but are acutely aware of the recovery road that is in front of him.

If you know me you know that I am wife and mom first and photographer next. That being said, being by my husband's side and helping him through this has taken precedence over everything else. Which would explain if you have reached out and responses have come a little later than usual or not at all yet, or if you're waiting on a gallery.

Now that we are home I will be working through emails and galleries the best I can, while also taking care of him and helping him in his recovery. If you're waiting on me, I promise it's coming! Thank you for your grace as we navigate this and find a new balance.

Don't worry, I will still be shooting and doing all the things! In fact, if you've been wanting to book a session, now would be an incredible time to do so as my husband will be out of work for a bit and hospital stays and big surgeries are not cheap. 🫣

And now a love note...

To my clients that have been flexible, rescheduled, offered love, prayer, support, and everything in between, who have been beacons of light in this time... THANK YOU! I can feel the love and knowing that things are okay on this end truly helps me focus on my family and take care of things on that end. You guys are the absolute best. 🫶🏻

To my clients that happened to be working in the hospital over the last 4 days and have helped take care of him as gently and lovingly as you have... THANK YOU! To see familiar faces walk through the doors and to be greeted with hugs and deep kindness was such a blessing to us during a rough time. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 🫶🏻

Oof, you guys! It has been a crazy busy last few months around here! Between moving studios, prom, track, and graduation, and everything in between, it has been nonstop for us. Amidst the chaos, we did get the chance to head up the mountain last weekend and it was so beautiful! It got me pumped for all the outdoor sessions coming up.

On that note, let's talk summer/fall outdoor sessions, shall we? Our outdoor shooting season isn't that long and it also happens to be the busiest season of the year for me. That being said, if you want to get in on those dreamy outdoor photos for this year, get in touch asap! Things are finally green and the wildflowers are starting to pop so the time is now! And speaking of beautiful outdoor sessions... I cannot wait to photograph this beautiful family again next month. This time they'll also have their darling little girl!
