Hi!! It's me!! I'm still here!
Phew you guys... it has been a summer! Here's what I've been up to...
Still taking care of hubby. He's making progress and getting better all the time, but let me tell ya, he is SICK of crutches! And I would be lying if I said I wasn't also over them. Talk about a trip hazard. We're all currently seeking compensation 🤣 J/K! But really, we've been focusing on getting him healed up and doing whatever it takes to make that happen. Continued thanks to all you lovely humans for the extended grace and patience. Life has definitely looked different for us these last couple months and I am beyond grateful for the love and kindness from you!
Been snuggling cute babies (like this one pictured), sneaking in a bo***ir session, making pretty pictures for Miss Wyoming’s Teen, and loving on lots of precious families. It's been hotter than hot and I swear that had I known Outdoor Mini Sessions would fall during one of the hottest weeks of the whole year, I would have maybe made different choices 🥵 Needless to say, I am WAY behind on sharing.
Made it up to the mountain just for fun a of couple times! Whoohoo! Had a wonderful time with the lovely people Josh works with at Spear-O-Wigwam. Talk about a hidden gem! Did a LONG trek in the side by side, which is currently just about the only thing Josh can do, so we're trying to get out as much as we can (cabin fever hits hard when you're not the sittin' around type).
Ran to CO for a way too quick meet up and shoot out with one of my very favorite humans/fellow photographers and even got to sneak a hug from one of my dear friends from middle/high school and meet her precious family (they were actually one of our model families, which was so awesome!). Stayed with my "Nudder Family" and tried to soak up every single second because when I say it was quick, it was QUICK.
Planning a party 🎉 Still working on details for the grand opening of the new studio, but it's coming together! I am beyond excited to share the new home of Emily Robin Photography with all of you!! If you've been waiting for details, I promise they're coming!
It seems like the days are long when you're trying to manage something like a severe injury and all that comes with it, but while we're doing that, summer is zooming by (in true summer fashion). So, we're trying to make the most of it and soak up all the morsels of goodness, too.
Thanks for hanging in there with me! If it seems like days go by without seeing anything for me, just know I'm here, doing the things, and still booking sessions!
