To kick off Father’s Day weekend I would be remiss if I didn’t brag about my husband. We got married at 21 and 22. We were babies. And now we finally have one of our babies earth side with us. It means so much to both of us to have nothing but smiles on a holiday like Father’s Day. These holidays used to be filled with false smiles, tears, difficult conversations, and avoiding family holidays because they were so incredibly hard. Now we have joyfullness, laughter, happy tears, and memories being made every single day. In the quiet moments we are peaceful and in the loud ones we are laughing, singing, and dancing. Watching my husband become a dada has been the greatest gift of my whole life besides having my son.
Brady, you work so hard for this family. You are the most present father. You are patient and a teacher. If our son grows up to be half the man you are he will be one hell of a guy. You teach me so much about unconditional love and I’m so proud of you, today and every day. As Hayes would say “Iiiiiiii luhhhhhv yew!” We are so lucky that luck doesn’t even scratch the surface.
