“Would Mt. Nebo be crazy? Or just something scenic like that?”

-literally music to my ears when planning maternity sessions!! We discussed our options & ultimately landed at Petit Jean (one of my favorite places in the world!)

I’m so amazed with how this session turned out. It rained ALL day. The rain chances said it would be done by our session time, so we took a chance against Arkansas weather and made the drive. And that sunset speaks for itself! Fellow photographers & clients, rain chances don’t always mean you should cancel. Most of the time, I’ve stuck with it and gotten the BEST sunsets ever.

Now we wait for this little man to finish growing & I can’t wait to welcome him! 💓

My schedule has been so full lately that I’m a little behind on announcing my spring mini session day… so this one is a bit last minute! Therefore we are going to go the “pay what you can” route to YOUR benefit!

These are very minimal, quick sessions — please don’t expect a full session. This is simply a fun way for me to thank my loyal clients and also say hello to some new faces while you guys get some updated photos!

This session was one of those that will stick with me for life! I couldn’t have shared their story any better, so I reached out to mom to tell in her words.

Here’s what she had to say:
“We were so pleased with our experience with Brittany. This entire pregnancy has been a redemptive experience. Our 12 year old son was born with a rare genetic disease that caused him to code at birth. His diagnosis was unexpected and the years that followed were hard. We were told he would never live to see his first birthday. Thankfully, God had other plans. Because we spent his first 14 months in the hospital, we missed out on all the “normal” moments parents look forward to… including newborn photos. We assumed we’d never get the chance to be new parents again due to the risk of having another severely affected child. Through IVF, we were able to have a healthy baby girl! Brittany gave us the chance to have the newborn photos we never had with our son. This experience has healed a part of me I didn’t know was broken. We’re forever thankful!”

🥹 And I’m again reminded that I’m doing exactly what I was meant to do. Big brother stole my heart with his big reaction when I told him I “just loved him” in that first photo. Sister slept soundly the entire session and we were able to capture all of the photos we had hoped to. To see these incredible parents love their babies and give God the glory for it all-priceless.
