The Wedding Niche is one of those rare places that gets everything right.

I have photographed multiple weddings here and every single experience has been exceptional. Lisa runs this place with a level of care that you can feel the moment you arrive. Couples are supported, vendors are supported, and the entire day flows in a way that feels calm and intentional. Every couple I have worked with here has had exactly what they needed. Nothing slips through the cracks.

As a photographer, this property is a dream. There are so many different pockets to work with and each one feels like its own little world. Open fields, wooded paths, quiet corners near the manor house, warm indoor spaces, and spots with beautiful natural light that shift throughout the day. It never feels repetitive. You can shoot an entire gallery here without ever running out of inspiration.

What I love most is the atmosphere. It is warm, welcoming, and filled with character. The couples who choose this place always seem to settle into the day with a sense of peace that is hard to find at larger venues. You can tell they feel taken care of. You can tell their experience matters.

From a vendor perspective, working with Lisa is always smooth and professional. She communicates clearly, stays present throughout the day, and makes it easy for everyone involved to do their best work.

I recommend The Wedding Niche every chance I get. It is beautiful, thoughtful, and truly one of the best places to photograph a wedding or elopement. If you are considering this venue, you will be in amazing hands and you will end up with photos that feel rich, intimate, and full of life.

Mornings at the vet’s office always remind me how quickly time flies, especially as these faithful buds grow up alongside me. Today, it was Sugar’s turn for her shots, and Cal had a check-up—just routine things to keep those tails a-wagging 🐾

I came across a saying earlier,

“Pictures are important, and one day, it’s going to be all you have.”

It made me pause and think about all the moments I’ve captured of Cal and Sugar, from their mischievous playtimes to these quiet mornings of care.

It reminds me that photos do more than just document; they celebrate every chapter of our stories.

SO…
