a beautiful DC brunch wedding that I’m finally willing to share with you all. E&J’s day warms my heart every time I think about it. they’re the kind of people that you strive to be. they care so deeply for their community and the world around them. every part of their day was intentional and filled with so much love and thoughtfulness. from their choice in venue to their selection of speakers during their ceremony to the selection of food served at brunch everything was so beautiful. I shed several tears on this day and while editing this album 😭

this is what happens when you put a child (me) in a candy store (q***r couple + art museum).

I’ve been thinking of little me a lot lately. it might be the latest “this is who” trend I probably won’t do but has caused me to think about how little me probably couldn’t have imagined all of the love stories I get to photograph. how i’m someone’s first thought when they need a photographer. how i’m someone’s dream wedding photographer. how I get flown all over the world to document weddings. how even when life can feel so heavy, i’ve found a craft that makes me feel alive. how I’ve built a business for the last 9 years that has allowed me to build a life for me.

I will always pay attention too all the little moments and things that make life beautiful
I will always be community-oriented and support my humans however I can

Mừng Xuân or Celebrating Spring is the Vietnamese celebration of Lunar New Year and truly one of my favorite holidays. It is all about sharing good fortune and happiness with your friends, families, and neighbors as well as showing gratitude and respect to our elders and ancestors. Homes are decorated with lavish floral displays and fruit offerings in hopes of bringing on good luck in the new year and adding joy into our homes. So I felt like there was no better way to celebrate than to showcase some of my favorite florals from this past year.

a wedding weekend filled with so much laughter, personal details, and love in Shenandoah captured on film ✨

I know I sound like a broken record but this wedding was truly the most romantic fall wedding day. everything about this couple’s wedding screamed them and I’m constantly grateful for couples that aren’t afraid to go against tradition and do things that mean something to them. like getting married in the mountains surrounded by all your favorite people from all eras of your life, flash tattoos during your reception, thrifted champagne flutes for all of your guests, mismatched attire for their wedding party, a custom vintage tv display, and a community of people that are ready to celebrate you and your love.

how can I not fall in love with all of my couples and their weddings when that’s the energy they bring into their day?!

when I think about this day I think about how much love surrounded this couple, how many laughs that were exchanged, how many tears were shed, M’s beautiful smile every time she got to twirl in her dress, and the glisten in T’s eyes every time he looked over at M.

it was the most romantic fairytale evening at a castle in autumn. my eyes tear up every time I think about this day and the joy seen in everyone’s face. I’ll never be able to find the right words that truly depict what this couple and day meant to me but I loved documenting every minute of it.

my 2025 couples filled my cup in a way that I never really knew possible. you helped me fall deeper in love with weddings. you shared your community with me. you helped me learn the true value of my art. and most importantly, you trusted me to document one of the most important days in your lives. I’m grateful for the lessons learned in 2025 but most importantly, the people that have found their way into my circle. I love you all so much and cannot wait to document more life and love 😭

personally, I love a cocktail hour (and a half even) during golden hour. the light hits just right while you and your friends celebrate your nuptials. you’ll get stunninggg photos with you and your people, your florals will be glowinggg, and maybe we can sneak in some portraits as the sunsets behind you. it’s a photographer’s favorite time of day for good reason.

y’all actually did that. you somehow managed to vote for me enough to be this year’s Best of Baltimore WEDDING, ENGAGEMENT, and BO***IR photographer?!?

you had a girl emotional!!! like what do you mean I won all three categories?! my humans are a truly unmatched. it’s really been a wild journey getting here but I’m so lucky that it came now because I don’t think I would’ve given myself enough credit if this were to happen any earlier. I have worked so hard to get here and I am so incredibly proud of myself. Little me probably couldn’t imagine that this is where life would take her while also being in awe of the humans she gets to meet and places she gets to go.

Thank you so so much to my community of humans. I wouldn’t have been able to win if it weren’t for you. I cannot believe how much faith you have in me and how much love you give my craft. In a word of a million and one photographers, I’m lucky to have been able to be chosen to document your lives. I’ll never be able to express my gratitude fully.

okay… fine y’all bullied me. I’m doing film now 🫣😭

I really can’t find the words to describe the level of joy I felt when I got these scans back from . It’s a mix of excitement and pride when you look at a film photo you took. I get it now. I’m drinking the kool aid and you’re gonna be truly sick of me. So glad I got to play and learn this fall season. What do typical art students do?

Go make art in an art museum because /art/. Finally made it to the National Gallery do Art for an engagement session where I really got to test my film capabilities and I don know about y’all but I’m in love 🤭 these two are stunnningggg and made it so easy. Grateful my couples trust me with their vision.
