Hey Friends! How ARE you?! This wild year has thrown everything for a loop, including the flow of life behind my camera. I have been missing your beautiful smiling faces and big life moments!

I had an incredible opportunity to dust off my lonely camera and shoot a SKYDIVING adventure yesterday. This was a special excursion because it included someone who has overcome serious challenges and become dear to my heart this year... more about that later, promise!

For now, please enjoy this image of my BRAVE co-worker, Tiffany, skydiving in support of Seattle Pediatric Brain Tumor Research. She had no intention of jumping out of a plane when she woke up yesterday but went for it anyway! 🤯🙌💪💃🤙😍

Hey Friends, I just wanted to apologize for setting up a Giveaway and then leaving you all hanging. To be completely, painfully, honest with you, June picked me up and slammed me down, hard. Just days after returning from my vacation with my eldest daughter, we had a death in the family, mom tore her cornea while we were making funeral arrangements for her late husband... Then an awful cold tore through my household and landed my 5 year old in the hospital overnight. We are just now beginning to find a new normal, catch up on everything that backslid and trying to salvage our summer!

Thank you for supporting my business and my family. I am SO ready to get back to work!!

Good Morning! I promised a big announcement a couple days ago and then got distracted with an extended family emergency, sorry about that! Not wanting to put it off another moment, here it is!

In May, I will be returning to school, perusing a Bachelor's in Special Education. Don't worry though, Shutterjoy Photography is not going anywhere!

Instead, I will be trying out an additional package offering, which will allow me to continue to offer gorgeous images and heirloom quality print products and wall art, while freeing up some of my time for school. What this means is that for (at least) the rest of 2019, I will be offering a high resolution digital package (with print release). Clients will have the option of printing through my professional lab for images guaranteed to last a lifetime or to take the images to a consumer lab to be printed. This is not something Shutterjoy has offered before and I am nervous and EXCITED to see how my clients like it.
