Red,

Although I only knew you for the last year of your life, I’m incredibly thankful for every minute and every mile of which I had the privilege to exist in your presence. It was an honor to photograph you and Gen on our trip to Tehquamenon Falls and I’m eternally grateful that you were the first pet I got to do a full photo set of with my new camera. Those three days with you and Gen up north were nothing short of legendary. You were a god damn champion on that trip. That left-over steak Gen and I brought you from the Dixie Saloon was well deserved.

It warmed my heart seeing you perk up your ears as soon as you saw me when I came home from work every night after the move. Those moments when you and I would cuddle on the floor in the middle of the night when Gen and Eric were asleep will stay with me forever. And so will every memory I have of you.

I love you, Red.
Always.

Rest in peace, Legend. 🐾 ❤️
