This is Lori’s and my 10th year photographing Mill Valley football. We were talking recently about our early days and how our photography has changed over the years. One thing we noticed, looking back, is that Lori did great sideline photography – some artsy photos that showed a different side of the game, not just the action on the field. Lori enjoys documenting the game beyond the game, and these sideline photos show that. So, we decided that she would rock two cameras this year, one for sideline stuff and one for action. These photos show Lori’s creativity and skill with the camera(s). We hope you like the results. Mill Valley Jaguar Football scored an opening night victory over Shawnee Mission Northwest 56-25. The Mill Valley Jaguar Football freshman kicked off their season last night with a convincing victory over Shawnee Mission Northwest. It was good to see a good crowd from both teams at the Swamp - well done parents. I've watched this batch of freshman for a few years now and they are really talented. I urge you to take in a game and see what the future of the Jaguars looks like. You won't be disappointed. Here's my favorite photos from the evening. The Mill Valley Jaguars flag football team was unstoppable on in their Sept. 2 season debut against Shawnee Mission North. The Jaguars racked up points early and often jumping out to a 58-0 halftime lead before cruising to a 66-0 victory. In this first season as a KSHSAA sport, that Jaguars put the flag football world on notice that they're contenders. These are my favorite photos from the game. There was a party Friday Aug. 28 at Jaguar Stadium and the whole community was invited. The Mill Valley Jaguar Football annual Mill Valley Night Lights brought together the entire Jaguar football family from K-12 for a football extravaganza. The event also featured cheer and dance performances. Here's just some of the action I caught. The only thing more insane than the humidity last night was the play on the volleyball court. Mill Valley's annual outdoor Volley in The Valley featured three of the top teams in the state: Mill Valley, Blue Valley West and Bishop Miege in a volleyball free for all.
