A Full-On Pittsburgh Wedding — and I Mean FULL On

Listen… you know it’s about to be a wild one when the bridal party comes in on inflatable horses. 😂 From the first toast to the last shot (literally), this crew showed up ready to celebrate in true Pittsburgh fashion ,loud, loving, and unforgettable.

The cookie table? Legendary. The energy? Off the charts. When you’ve got a couple who are actual bar owners, you already know the after party is going to be one for the books. By the end of the night, people were dancing, laughing, throwing shots into the crowd, and honestly I was right there grinning behind the camera the entire time.

What I loved most, though, was how much heart there was behind all the chaos. You could feel how much everyone adored these two every hug, every inside joke, every laugh that made you forget how sore your feet were.

Pittsburgh weddings just hit different. They’re loud, real, and full of soul and this one reminded me exactly why I love what I do. 🖤

Some Days Stay With You Forever

There are weddings that are beautiful… and then there are weddings that feel like love itself. This one was both. From the moment I arrived at that historic George Washington hotel, its old stone walls carrying stories of their own.
I’ve photographed their journey before from the quiet beauty of their maternity session to this day, where I finally got to see that sweet baby boy in person (and yes, I cried HE IS DARLING). There’s something surreal about watching a family’s story unfold through your lens knowing that the same people who once stood in front of your camera are now living the very memories you captured.

Her father, a man whose strength humbles everyone who meets him, watched his daughter walk down the aisle — and you could feel every ounce of love in that moment. It reminded me why photographs matter so deeply. Because when time softens memories, these images remain proof of love, of laughter, of presence.

I left that night with a full heart, a tear or two, and the quiet knowing that this is why I do what I do.
To honor the moments that become someone’s everything. 🤍

The day began under the weight of a late summer heat, and before long, the rain decided to join us — soft, steady, and cinematic in its own way. But instead of rushing or worrying, they simply smiled. The fields glistened, the air smelled of earth and hope, and everything felt like it was meant to be.

Instead of a first look, they chose a first touch — hands finding each other around the corner of the old barn, exchanging words so tender I found myself quietly wiping away tears behind the lens.

It wasn’t about perfection. It was about love, raw and radiant, the kind that stands strong through rain and sunlight alike.

Captured on one of the most beautiful farms I’ve ever seen — a day of laughter, mud on shoes, mist in the air, and hearts wide open.

She looked at me halfway through the portraits and whispered, “I’ve never felt beautiful until today.”

Her husband came over after dinner, eyes misty, and said, “Thank you for showing her what I’ve always seen.”

We toasted with the most perfect salmon, laughed until our cheeks hurt, and for a moment, it wasn’t about the cameras or timelines. It was about worth about reminding someone that they are radiant, loved, and more than enough.

This is why I do what I do. Not just to capture beauty, but to reveal it.

Pulled up to the cabin and instantly knew , this was going to be one of those days. The kind where the girls are hyping each other up, music’s blasting, champagne’s flowing, and everyone’s half laughing, half crying while they try to do eyeliner. I took a little hiatus — not out of burnout, but to find purpose in art again. To remember why I fell in love with storytelling in the first place.
