Sure, we missed Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos (Wise Men Parade), but the beautiful floats were still around as we toured around Cartagena. Loved all the history and architecture here - worth a visit for sure.

Visited Antietam National Battlefield last night as Illuminating Antietam lit 23110 candles to memorialize the casualties of the bloodiest day of the Civil War. It was a long wait but beautiful and moving.

In Frederick and New Market the aurora was hard to see with the naked eye, but a long exposure made it super clear. What an exciting evening!

A few pictures from the Lake District and Great Orme. Someday I want to go back and stay at the B&B along the drive around Great Orme - The Lighthouse. And our drive through the Lake District was all too quick - just a diversion between Liverpool and Edinburgh - I'd love to get lost in those hills and twisty roads sometime.

Hadn’t been to Wales and decided it was too close to pass up. The drive around Great Orme was delightful and relaxing. It must be a great place for a sunset if you’re willing to be out that late. Missed the seals but saw goats a-plenty.
