"Williamsville Roll of Honor"

Celebrating Flag Day, on this day in 1777 the Second Continental Congress of the United States formally adopted the nation's first flag. 37 additional stars have been added since, however the the 13 red and white stripes have forever remained. An honored symbol of freedom and patriotism for 248 years.

"Green & Gold"

Looking more like a John Deere tractor rather than a locomotive, Ag Products Inc. number 3877 briefly pauses in Alliance, NE on its way to its new owner. This former Southern Railway high-hood GP38 has been rebuilt by Western Rail, Inc. with a short hood, LED lights and a flashy new paint scheme! Riding an H-LAUKCK to Kansas City, its final home is unknown.

The ‘Butte Local’ out of Alliance drifts down Angora Hill and through the S-curves at Vance. Soon it will be crossing the Union Pacific and the North Platte River before doing their work at Bridgeport.

"The CZ on the CNW"

On May 28, 2018, Amtrak’s California Zephyr was detoured off its normal route via BNSF railway and onto Union Pacific’s former CNW mainline between Omaha and Chicago. Due to the need for cab signaling a UP SD70ACe is on the point. Here it is seen passing the small town of Flagg, IL.
