Happy New Year's Eve everyone! I have a few ideas planned for my photography for the upcoming year! So exciting!

I'm looking for some input/suggestions though on one particular item. I have been creating personalized calendars recently and am curious as to the interest. They are so much fun for me to make, knowing that YOUR special memories are showcased each month!

What is your expectation on the price of said personalized calendar that all you have to do is email me photos and then I create your create calendar? There are so many options with adding this service to my portfolio. The calendar can even focus on photos I take for you during a session. I just don't know how to price out this service considering it can be totally customized but I also know I need it to be a price that reflects my hard work and creativity. Anyone have any input? Any and all comments and input are greatly appreciated! I hope you all have a safe, healthy, and happy New Year's Eve!

This is only 1 of 2 photos I have ever been able to capture of a hummingbird. I find these little creatures to be amazing and beautiful!! I took this photo while we were living in New York in 2010. I was sitting outside on our patio enjoying the afternoon taking photos of the sky when out of the corner of my eye, I saw something fly up to the hummingbird feeder I had attached to our window. I was lucky enough to get this photo. I have only caught a hummingbird on camera one other time and that was 8 years before I took this photo and it wasn't near as good. :) I'm thankful to technology because zoom capabilities on the camera I had in 2002 was NOWHERE NEAR as good as they are now!!

Goodness...it's been so long since I have posted anything here! Sorry about the unexpected absence everyone!! It's been a crazy start to the new year here for me and now it's almost half over!! Time to get cracking and get more photos posted!! I have some exciting news to share with you all...I completed a Senior Portrait session in the middle of April right before Easter and am finalizing all the photos. I will hopefully be posting a few shots from that session soon!! Be on the lookout for those to pop up soon!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Wednesday!! Back to editing :D

I took this photo during my first northern New York Lake Effect Snowfall while we lived at Fort Drum, NY. I was in total awe of the life that the snow took on…it seemed to cling to EVERYTHING!! Including the whole one side of our house. I remember looking through the window feeling very cold and at that point was very thankful to have the comfort of my home to protect me.

I took this photo with my Sony CyberShot in December 2009. Enhanced it just a tad in Corel Paint Shop Photo Pro X3.

Hello everyone!!!! Sorry for the unexplained absence of posts here. December kind of got away from me!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a happy and safe New Year!! Now that the hustle and bustle of the holidays are over...I plan on diving right back in to my photography :) Here's to an amazing 2017!! :D

If I remember correctly, this Sea Gull was getting ready to take flight to snag the food that my daughter was throwing up in the air. I took this photo at Sackets Harbor, New York on June 25, 2010 with my Nikon CoolPix P100.

Happy Friday evening everyone!! I apologize for not posting much this week. I ended up having a major issue with my laptop main Windows User Profile and it caused me to realize that I needed to do a major overhaul and back up on my laptop. Needless to say...I was able to get my photos backed up onto an external hard drive. :D WOO HOO!!!! Took awhile to do though because I have OVER 35,000 photos on this laptop alone :/ but now they are safe :D Now I just need to get all the photos from my other 2 external hard drives and get them all organized also :D I hope to be back to posting again here later tonight or tomorrow. :D Other exciting news for me...my fiance has asked me to create him a website for his photos also!! :D Looks like I'm going to be busy with website building and maintaining for awhile *giggle* We are sitting here working on photos while snuggling with our little four legged girl Daisy...and watching "Ant Man". Hope everyone has a wonderful evening!! Catch you all really soon!!

This shot of the moon was taken on June 25, 2010 at Calcium Nature Trail in Calcium, New York. I have always been fascinated with the moon. There is something very mysterious and mesmerizing about the moon to me. I might just be crazy, who knows LOL.

I took this photo with my Nikon CoolPix P100. I used Corel Paint Shop Pro X4 to resize the image.

This is one of the sites you will see along the 3 hour “Two Nation Tour” on Uncle Sam’s Boat Tour in Alexandria Bay, NY. This Boat House ALWAYS catches my attention because it is located among multi million dollar houses and retreats and there it sits, sinking, falling down, like a forgotten building from long ago...it just sinks further down every season. Back in the day it was the place where the boats would dock under it and above it where all the windows are once was a Ballroom for dancing and parties. I took this photo in August of 2010 when we were living in NY and I often wonder how it looks today, over 6 years later.
