The Svehla family.
One of the most rewarding parts of this profession is getting to walk alongside families through the years, documenting not just milestones, but the story in between. I've had the honor of photographing the Svehlas through many seasons of life, and each time I'm reminded how quickly those seasons pass.
What started as a family of four has continued to grow, evolve, and take on new chapters, and it's been a privilege to preserve those memories along the way.

I've had the opportunity to work alongside this business for the better part of my career, which makes sessions like this especially meaningful. While there’s new ownership and a few new faces on the team, the foundation that has made Allure what it is remains the same. Familiar faces, familiar values, and the same commitment to serving their clients well.
Businesses evolve, teams grow, and leadership changes hands, but the best organizations find a way to carry their culture forward while continuing to build for the future. Excited to see what’s ahead for this next chapter of Allure and grateful to continue being a small part of the journey.

A few frames from the welcome party to kick things off. There’s something special about the night before it all begins; family and friends arriving, conversations picking up where they left off, and everyone settling into the weekend ahead.

One of the greatest privileges of this work is being invited back, year after year, to document the chapters of a family’s story as it unfolds. From early milestones to now welcoming baby Miller, it has been incredibly meaningful to witness and capture these moments along the way.

The final touches, a quiet breath, and the realization that everything you’ve been planning, dreaming about, and preparing for is finally here. These few minutes before walking out the door always feel different; calm, emotional, and full of anticipation.
