When Thomas decided HE wanted to gift her a photoshoot because “the best presents are pictures,” I honestly could’ve cried. Watching my little boy understand the value of preserving memories hit me in a way I can’t fully explain.

Getting to capture Elisabeth and her husband’s love story was such an honor, and it made me so emotional realizing I’m raising a little boy who already sees the importance of holding onto moments and loving people well.

Here’s to raising boys who grow into men that preserve memories for their families one day. ✨

☀️ SUMMER MINI SESSIONS ARE HERE ☀️

South Carolina summers are HOT 😅
Between the heat, sweaty hair, red faces, and little ones that would rather run wild than smile at the camera… I’m officially shifting my summer sessions to a more relaxed mini session format!

Starting June 1 through the end of August, the main session option available will be:

✨ 15–20 minute Summer Mini Sessions
✨ $199
✨ Perfect for families, couples, maternity, milestones, and updated photos
✨ Local locations only:
Walhalla, Seneca, Clemson, Salem, and Pickens

I’ll also be releasing a list of location options to choose from, including:
🌿 State parks + water spots
⛰️ Mountain views like Chattooga Belle Farm
☀️ Open fields, downtown spots, and more

If you’d still prefer a full hour session, absolutely! I’ll still be offering those by request this summer.

Honestly though… sometimes 20 minutes is the sweet spot before everyone melts 😂

A years difference in food photography 🥹

The first slide was from just under two weeks ago, and the second was my very first attempt at food photography. Honestly, I don’t think the first one was bad at all, but wow… I love seeing the growth.

Fun fact: a year ago, Amanda Moon Callahan asked if I’d be interested in being her food photographer. Of course I said yes… even though I had absolutely no idea what I was doing 😂

I spent hours watching food photography tutorials, invested in lighting equipment, and started practicing on my own recipes at home. Since then, Amanda and I have done multiple sessions together, and I’m genuinely so proud of the work we’ve created.

It’s such an honor to capture real food from real farmers, and to help tell the story of local food in such a beautiful way. 🌿✨

“What do you mean we’re moving out of Clemson, Mom?” - Beau 🐾

Some coworkers come and go… and some become part of your story forever.

Mattie started as my coworker in Clemson, quickly became my right hand in all things content and behind-the-scenes magic, and then somewhere along the way… became one of my people.

I’ve had the absolute honor of capturing so many of her milestones… from the moment she said YES to Brayden, to engagement photos, and now her graduation. Getting to document her life while also walking alongside her as a friend is something I’ll never take lightly.

And if you know Mattie, you know this… everything she does, she does at her absolute best. No shortcuts, no half effort. Just heart, consistency, and excellence in everything she touches.

This isn’t goodbye, but wow… it’s the hardest see-you-later.

Mattie, thank you for trusting me through every season. The Yarbs love you big ❤️

Some people just *are* the kind of community we all hope to be part of… and McKayla is exactly that.

She is the first one to show up for small businesses, to hype others up, to support, to give… and right now she and her family are walking through something really heavy. 💔

So seeing everyone rally around her like this? It’s everything.

This raffle is packed with SO many amazing local services and gifts (I’m honored to be a small part of it 🤍), but more than anything—it’s a chance to show up for a family that has always shown up for others.
