Susan jeffers photography Photographer: 25 years and counting
People: spirit driven; storytelling. Art comes to life
Fashion- lifestyle- commercial Photography found me in a curious way.

At 15, a palm reader said she saw “my eyes in a box”—a strange image that made sense a decade later when I picked up my first camera. That moment changed everything. The rigid structure of academia couldn’t contain me, but photography offered the freedom to create, observe, and tell stories. My name is Susan Jeffers. For over 25 years, I’ve specialized in fashion, lifestyle, and commercial print photography—driven by a deep love for people and the moments when light, subject, and emotion align. I’ve journeyed to Iceland 13 times, found awe in the American West, and drawn inspiration from cultures around the world.

World Art Day is a good reminder that art is not a finished thing. It's a practice. One that continues because people choose to be part of it.

My collectors are collaborators in that sense. I make the art, they give it a home.

"Bisti" exists in my studio until someone brings it into a place that means something to them.

Let's collaborate. Get 25% off through Saturday. Code ARTDAY26.

World Art Day exists because someone decided that art, as a living practice, deserved a day of recognition.

"Mummy 2" is part of that practice.

For an independent artist, it's a moment to reflect on what it all means and say thank you.

That's why I'm offering 25% off with code ARTDAY26.

World Art Day is a moment to acknowledge that making and collecting art is not a luxury reserved for institutions. It belongs to everyone.

A question worth sitting with today: what is the first work of art you remember truly stopping in front of? Not the most famous. Not the most expensive. The one that made you feel something before you had the language to explain it.

I'd genuinely like to know. Share it below.

"Lómagnúpur" is part of a collection of work made for moments like that one.

Happy World Art Day.

Art isn't decoration. It's a record of what we noticed, what moved us, what we wanted to hold onto. "Fuselage" is part of that conversation.

In honor of today, I'm offering 25% off in my shop through Saturday. Code: ARTDAY26.

Most people change their wardrobes with the season. Very few think to do the same with their walls.

Spring is actually one of the best moments to reassess what you are living with, not to redecorate constantly, but to ask whether the work on your walls still reflects who you are right now. Art is not furniture. It should evolve with you.

If you have been waiting for a reason to make a change, here's your permission slip.

"Fog in Whale Fjord" is part of a growing collection.

Spring is the season when people actually follow through on the room changes they have been thinking about all winter. If you have been considering adding "Kanab Dreams" to your space but want something more durable and substantial than paper, canvas is worth looking at seriously.

Canvas prints carry a depth and presence that holds up over time. They do not require glass, they travel well from wall to wall, and they look right at home, whether a space is minimal or full. A considered choice for a season of renewal.

A lot of people assume collecting art requires a particular budget.

What it really takes is starting small (one work, chosen carefully), which is more meaningful than filling walls quickly.

The collectors who build something worth having usually begin the same way: one decision at a time.

"Sheepish" is featured today. Check out the display and pricing options I have available.
