🚨 IMPORTANT BOOKING ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
Effective September 13, 2026, ALL photography sessions will require a deposit to book.
I’ve been very lenient about deposits for a long time because I understand that life happens. Unfortunately, I’ve been burned too many times by last-minute cancellations, and I simply can’t afford to let it slide anymore.
Photography is not a side hobby for me. This is my full-time job and a major part of how I support my family. When someone books a $200 session, I reserve that date and time specifically for them. I turn away other potential bookings because that spot is no longer available. When that session is canceled the day before—or at the last minute—it isn’t simply an appointment disappearing from my calendar. It is income my family was counting on to pay bills, cover business expenses, buy groceries, put gas in the jeep, and handle all of the same everyday expenses every other family has.
So going forward, a deposit will be required to secure your session date and time. Your session is not officially booked until that deposit has been received.
When you book, please:
• Make note of your session date and time.
• Be sure you understand the total cost before booking.
• Communicate with me as soon as possible if something comes up.
• Please don’t reserve a date unless you genuinely intend to keep it.
I completely understand that emergencies happen and that some circumstances are truly outside of our control. I will always do my best to be understanding when those situations arise. But at the end of the day, this is a business, and I have to treat it like one. Bills continue to come whether a session happens or not.
I hate having to become stricter about this, but I also have to protect my time, my business, and my family.
