Our Wolf Tracks of Texas meetup was a wonderful reminder that photography is about more than taking pictures. It’s about community, shared experiences, learning from one another, and seeing the world through different perspectives.

And sometimes, our photography can make a difference. A single image can tell a story, raise awareness, inspire others, and help support meaningful work.

A heartfelt “thank you” to April Gilmore and her team of volunteers that made our morning special.

Months behind on our summer meetup schedule, but some adventures are worth the wait!
Our Texas Through Her Lens crew—Suki Daunt, Sharlana Dillard, Amy Jasek, Jama Pantel, and Barbara Beversdorf—headed to Hope Outdoor Gallery to explore a brighter, bigger space where professional muralists can showcase their incredible talents… alongside those who simply show up with a can of spray paint and a dream. ]

Lots of color, creativity, texture, and plenty to photograph. Because sometimes the best art is found where the walls are anything but blank!

Thank you for a wonderful workshop on black-and-white photography. Your images and insights showed us how monochrome photography strips away the unnecessary and allows light, contrast, texture, and emotion to tell the story. We left inspired to look at familiar scenes with fresh eyes.
