I’m going to get better each time I make one! This my second little news segment! The grand opening of Megan’s Organic Market in El Centro. This is El Centro’s first dispensary, and Imperial County’s only women owned dispensary.

A lot has happened since my last post, but most notably I covered a hearing for a court case. While the case itself was challenging to cover, I was also inspired by the building itself. I took this image of the light fixture in the courtroom, which I found to be fascinating.

I’ve been quiet this week, because I spent the week covering the preliminary hearings for the People Vs. Antonio Campos Ramirez. We are only about halfway through the proceedings, but here is an update as to what is going on in the hearing currently.

EL CENTRO – After a week of witness testimonies regarding the r**e and murder of Rose Jaime Campos, prosecutors have begun to paint a picture of defendant Antonio Ramirez Campos
