Blood Moon Eclipse over Sedona 🌑

As soon as totality began an entire pack of coyotes began yipping and howling like crazy. A great horned owl called out in the distance, and the Milky Way was visible during a full moon. Quite a night under the stars!

Skyfall ☄️

The Geminid meteor shower lights up the sky over Sedona in December 2025. This shot is the result of almost five hours of continuous capture, over 1000 frames. In total I recorded 150+ meteors streaking out from the radiant in Gemini and composited them into a single frame to show how a meteor shower appears in the sky over time. Print drop for this new piece will be coming in the next week or so!

I had such a great time creating this shot I’ve decided I will be hosting a special time lapse and meteor shower workshop for 2026 with ! Stay tuned for dates and info!

Some looks into deep space from the last month. These were all captured and processed with 3 and , with a workflow that happens entirely within my iPhone. It’s incredible how accessible smart telescopes have made astrophotography.

When you gaze into deep space you are also looking back in time. These objects are so distant from our solar system that the light we capture when we photograph them is thousands or even millions of years old. Take a moment and enjoy this art made with ancient light 🔭
