One of the most unique and red sunsets I have seen. The pictures are untouched but will never do it justice.
The red horizon just surrounded me with my feet sinking lightly into the sand. It was so open yet the sky seemed small. Like I was in the dome from the Truman show. It was just so quiet an peaceful there were barely ripples on the water of the gulf. The only real sounds you could hear were of a great blue heron that landed in the water not 30 feet from me. Occasionally making guttural sounds lethal seemsd to be to himself but mostly the sound of him delicately wading through the low tide. The click of my camera making him nervous so he slowly walked away and further to the nearby pier. Behind me stood a lighthouse decorated in more lights that stood out from the starry darkness behind it still.

No matter the day I have, nature heals.

I don’t normally share videos BUTTTT This was the cutest thing I’ve seen in person in a while.
I’m pretty sure they were on a date.
At least that’s what I am telling myself. (sorry I don’t know the species) 😆

Sp. Panthera kitty

This guy was standing by while his lady loudly had babies in the bush and out of sight. I’m not sure what kind of omen black cats birthing more black cats outside your window is supposed to be, but I will say the man that had all but proposed the day before immediately left me to join a cult. That is certainly a first, and hopefully a never again 😬.
This said, this beautiful kitty man with the captivating green eyes reminds me of what I deserve. …and that’s not someone that treats me like a toy, but someone that protects and is there with me through life’s up and downs.

I caught my friendly backyard woodchuck climbing the mulberry bush to get at those berries! I never knew they could climb trees like a darn squirrel!

Not my most aesthetically pleasing photo, but she also runs away most days as soon as I turn my head in her direction.
