Time is a thief
Every morning
A bit of the old you leaves us
You will no longer ever be the same
Time is a thief
One day you’ll be away
Making mistakes and learning life’s lessons
Do you know you can always come home?
Time is a thief
It sneaks in the middle of the night
And takes a bit at a time
One day it will change you
Your mom and I know that time is a thief
So we will have you now
Every nap we have to hold you
Though our arms are tired
Your mom and I know that time is a thief
Like a bubble that inevitably bursts
A cloud that disappears
Every tide that was here but now retreats
Your mom and I know that time is a thief
And because of that,
Time is a blessing

Notes:
Today I took only the small point and shoot camera again (think basically an iPhone. No Contax or any medium format big boy camera) and shot what I felt throughout the day in Barcelona. We saw a bunch of crazy cool stuff. However these are my favorite photographs. For those viewing these it’s going to take a little bit of time to digest as the images are more...quiet...and personal. I wanted to show more of a story of how I felt today. Rather than just epic banger images. The words I wrote in five minutes as I am a big believer in intuition and that’s how I shot these today. Just by the seat of my pants. I just brain vomited everything I was feeling onto the caption. Just like turning single letters into powerful words, I believe true power is turning the mundane scenes into something a bit less mundane, and sometimes even magic if the universe allows it
Tips on how to view:
Keep the previous image in your mind, and then swipe and look at the next image along, while keeping the words in the back of your mind. And repeat
For some people these images will resonate. For most they probably won’t. But I believe it’s important to do what you feel is right, rather than what you feel people will like. But I still hope you like them @ Gothic Quarter, Barcelona
