Some clients are just meant to be...
When found me for his family photos it somehow came up that we had a mutual friend in and naturally I asked how they knew each other. I found out that they were college buds and connected through so I knew Craig was top shelf! What I didn't know was how awesome and fun his whole family would be!
We had a great shoot at Crescent Moon Ranch in Sedona and the kids and adults were all having fun and posing like rock stars... This was truly one of my favorite photo shoots of all time!
Thanks for trusting me with your family photos, Craig and I appreciate all the support your family has given me even years after we worked together!
I truly have the best clients in the world, I appreciate you all so much!

Sedona's Cathedral....
This place has been such a wonderful addition to my life. As someone who travels almost constantly, it is always good to find a place that feels comforting and recharges the soul.
As another season winds down in Sedona, I'm off on one of my life's biggest adventures. It will have ups and downs, like all adventures do. Through the years I've grown stronger and more resilient to those peaks and valleys. I've also had some great family and friends to support me as well. I love you all so much.
It's always a bit sad to leave this place, but I realize like my photos, my memories of this place and the magical energy I've had here will not go away. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed...
And right now I'm FULL of energy! Time for life's next chapter...

The gatekeepers...
Modern day conquistadors who impose physical, mental, and economic barriers to our public lands. Often under the guise of preserving these lands, they put up fences, signs, and will even move earth to keep people away. Their relationship to earth is based on their want to own and control it.
As a Native American, my relationship is different...I believe the earth cannot be owned or controlled. It is a precious resource that should be shared and people should be educated on it's beauty and how we can preserve it.
The good news is that the earth will survive... And even though these barriers will outlast the gatekeepers that build them, our earth will outlast the barriers. It would just be nice if we could enjoy our land by sharing and appreciating it together in the meantime.
