My soul can no longer sit idly by on the bleachers and just observe what is happening around me. I’m bursting at the seams to participate again in the game of life. I must boldly document what I see, feel it all—the good, the bad, and the in between—and I must create art from it. And when I am making art or writing, for example, I must remember that when I am finished, it is a privilege to get to take joy in sharing some of these most vulnerable parts of myself with other people in the world.
Because ultimately that is what all of this is about. Sharing ourselves, connecting with others, and growing into the future together. What’s something you’re working on improving or changing right now? Or are you pretty content with everything and where you’re at in your own journey currently?

As I was searching for flowers to photograph in Northern Arizona, I could hear some elk bugling off in the distance. Shortly after hearing them, I was able to find them in my viewfinder and began taking photos. It was truly perfect timing, as the sun was starting to go down and golden hour had begun

Earlier this summer, I traveled to Northern Arizona, near Flagstaff, with the goal in mind of photographing wildflowers. I first saw some beautiful sunflowers when I pulled off the side of the road. This led to me photographing them with a pine tree and some mountains in the background! 🌻🌲⛰️

While photographing the sunflowers, I could hear some elk bugling off in the distance. Shortly after, I captured some of my favorite photos of the whole adventure—of elk in the meadow at golden hour! ☀️ ✨

This was my first time photographing and taking videos of elk in the wild, so hope you enjoy and I am glad I get to share these with you!

Sedona Summer Blog Post is Live! 🏜🎈

Last summer, I set out to Sedona in the morning with the goal of finding hot air balloons. I wanted to hike up to a high enough point so that I could be as level as possible with them. While I did get this photo below that I liked, I felt I could do even more, and decided I must return!
