Spent the weekend in Sedona celebrating Jordan and Austin and I could cry it’s over.

Jordan and Austin had the BEST vision- a lot of their inspiration came from the Heavenly Bodies Met Gala with a vintage Roman Catholic flare and boy oh boy was the vision met.

We spent the day before hiking to a spot that Jordan went often growing up and it was the most intimate perfect spot to do portraits. We then went to their welcome dinner where I got to meet so many of their loved ones that would be there the next day for their intimate ceremony

We ended their celebration back at Jordan’s house she grew up in for a perfect candle lit dinner under the stars in Sedona.

Sometimes the most meaningful celebrations happen right at home- surrounded by the people who mean the very most. This intimate Scottsdale ceremony was a quiet, emotional reminder that love doesn’t need a big venue to be powerful, just heart, connection, and the people you hold closest.

Jess and Jacob got married this weekend at their family property up in Flagstaff and I was absolutely floored.

The attention to detail and all the hard work and love put into their day truly shined through. 🥹

We were welcomed with a little down pour right before the ceremony and left the cutest rainbow, storm clouds and light. 🥹

We celebrated in the woods and it was truly so perfect. Couldn’t be any happier for you two.

Haley and Shawn’s engagement photos were so magical 🥺

After what felt like fighting with thunderstorms all day we got the perfect break in the middle of the day and we got the most perfect weather before the storms I kid you not picked up again for the rest of the day as soon as we finished up. 🥹

If you’re dreaming of those wild, joy-filled reception photos where everyone’s sweaty, laughing, and dancing their hearts out… here’s the secret: you’ve gotta be on the dance floor!

As the couple, you set the tone for the whole party. If you’re out there hyping everyone up, your guests will follow your lead. The more you’re in the middle of the action, the more epic and fun your photos will be.

A few extra tips for the best reception shots:
✨ Pick a killer playlist or DJ that makes you want to dance and hypes everyone up.
✨ Stay present: don’t worry about looking perfect, the candid in-between moments are the gold.
✨ Bring in props or traditions (glow sticks, sunglasses, tequila shots, late-night pizza, icecream, etc.) if you want to keep the party vibes going.
