TF Sport and Corvette Racing reigned at Le Mans as #33 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R of Nicky Catsburg, Jonny Edgar and Ben Keating earned LMGT3 victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Toyota secured its sixth victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but this time against fierce competition. Starting from 14th and 15th on the grid, the Toyotas executed the right strategy and drove a flawless race to take first and third places. BMW, Cadillac and Alpine confirmed their qualifying best performance by squatting the top five spots on the starting grid for this weekend’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. Cadillac celebrated a second consecutive Hypercar pole position this season; however, Aitken’s best lap in the #38 Cadillac V-Series.R was stripped due to having left the working lane to join the fast lane at the beginning of the session before being authorised to do so.
