I’m fixin to be totally transparent with y’all for a second. I’m sorry it’s such a long post. Lately I’ve been feeling a little discouraged with my photography business as every photographer has felt at one time or another.
Not because I don’t love what I do—but because engagement can make you question yourself more than you should wondering if why your photos are not good enough sometimes.
So tonight I stopped looking at numbers, likes, and all the things that make it feel heavy… and I went back through my photos instead.
And I was reminded why I started this in the first place.
These images may not be the ones that got the most attention, but they hold something better—real moments, real families, real memories I was trusted to freeze in time.
Photography, to me, has never just been about “good pictures.”
It’s about preserving the little moments people don’t realize they’ll miss one day.
So I’m sharing a few of my favorites tonight.
Not to sell anything. Not to promote anything. Just to remember why I love this.
If one of them catches your eye, I’d genuinely love to know which one and why?
