"Perfection made from patience."

The main gorge at Sabbaday Falls is said to be carved over the past 10,000 years by large volumes of water that carried with it sand, boulders and gravel which eventually carved out the gorge. Set inside the gorge is this punchbowl at the top, and the Sabbaday brook immediately after that plummets around 22 feet.

The original Albany covered bridge was built in 1857 for $1,300.00 but destroyed by a storm that flooded the Swift River. The bridge was rebuilt the next year and remained usable until renovated in 1970.
