When I was younger, I worked as a caregiver to those with dementia. It was one of the toughest jobs to have, but one of the most fulfilling. One thing that always stuck with me, is their love for God. The residents would forget almost everything; their family, their history, their favorite things, who I was, and so on… but they would never forget God. It amazed me how they would never forget that part of them.
This is Lola Connie. Lola Connie is my wifeys Grandma. Lola has Dementia as well. She has never forgotten God. Every morning there are prayers, and scriptures. She forgets us most days, but not God. Not ever. What a powerful testimony of Faith and Love for God.
