Today I get to honor a woman who has been so transformative in my life, and inspires me and shows me what life can be lived ahead.
At 72, Meg decided to go about the journey of getting her teaching certification for Tai Chi. For the last year and half, myself and a couple other ladies have been diligently doing our Tai Chi practicing in Meg's self proclaimed "dojo" (the garage, but it's a cute garage, not like your normal garage). Those couple of ladies have now morphed into many, and some weeks it can just be one of us and Meg.
And every time we gather we leave the same always. More grounded, more centered, more connected, more full of love. We have lovingly called our practice Tai She because it reflects us and it also honors the women who brought Tai Chi to the states.
This weekly practice has been so important to me, my health, my nervous system etc. I reschedule my life around our meet-ups and have started to hone in on on my solo practice at home and our in nature.
So lucky to have found this badass woman (I swear they just flock to me) and to celebrate her and all her recent accomplishments today.
You really can do anything and be anything at any time in your life, don't forget it.
