This little life of mine.
I’ve been absent here, I know I have. Stress of burnout, being conscious in 2025, living far away from family, dealing with years of grief sitting in my body, accepting new paths and new people into my life and reestablishing my business and how I choose to show up for the world in a time where it’s so desperately needed. I know I’m needed.
For the past couple of years, I felt like I couldn’t show up. Years of hurt, upset, grief, and having to pivot more times that I can count in life. It all caught up with me and I went into freeze mode for quite some time. In fact, I’m still a little thaw.
During that time, I couldn’t be present here on this app. I couldn’t even be present for myself, or many people in my life. And I sure as hell couldn’t come on here and try to tell you about loving your body, loving yourself, and loving everyone around you, when I certainly didn’t believe in any of those these last couple of years. My body had turned on me, my mental state turned to hell, and people turned their backs.
I felt lost, alone, unloved, shut down and not worthy of much. This narrative has been my narrative though from most of my life. But, we’re changing that narrative slowly, but surely. But to have that narrative pop up again and again over and over- my body just gave up so did my mind and so did my spirit.
But what I’m always reminded at every turn in life is that you really only have yourself. For so many years, I neglected myself, I put others before me, I put my business before me, I put others feelings before mine. And recently, I’ve been unlearning a lot, and relearning how to love myself tremendously. Really love myself.
My recent days have been filled with any sort of craft I can possibly get my hands on. Deeply, deeply loving this little city that I live in. Surrounding myself with good, kind, resilient, loving people. Becoming a plant and garden mom. Always, getting tattooed any chance I can get and photographing. Yes I am still working, let’s book.
This life can be hard. This world can be hard. People can be hard. But I’m choosing love every chance I get. Also, new website soon 😘
