It’s been a long time coming (IYKYK)

I’m so excited to have the space and wisdom to officially offer mentor sessions for fellow wedding photographers. I photographed my first wedding in 2013, launched full time in 2017, and have documented over 300+ celebrations.

I’ve learned so much in those years and have always believed in helping others rise, the same way people have helped me. Everyone talks about entrepreneurship being lonely, but I honestly feel so connected to my wedding community and love this industry for it.

As a photographer, I’d much rather be behind the lens, but Andrew Parsons worked his magic, making me feel at ease…and dare I say, I even had fun!

We chatted about how portrait sessions remind us of the vulnerability that comes with being in front of the camera. Bottom line: being yourself is the best pose. 🧡🧡🧡

HOLY WOWZAS!!!

Where do I even begin? THANK YOU! To every person who voted for me and my business, to every vendor that helped me pull off crazy sh*t on a tight timeline, and to every single person who chose to trust me in documenting their special moments— THANK YOU.

The longer I’m in this industry, the deeper my gratitude grows for just how special it is. Even when the world is falling apart, and it feels really weird to be amongst happy pretty things while everything else crumbles… this work matters. Art in a world of dark, matters.

This work is hard, but it’s always worth it. Every aching shoulder, shoe blister, and questionable rule breaking to get “the shot”.

I’m so thankful for this recognition but it was never done alone. I’ve had so much support over my career and to all of those who can aided in this journey, this is for you too 💜
