⭐️Travel Time Underestimates
if you are traveling to your ceremony location this is the number one thing I see as a photographer that delays your timeline, traffic, parking issues, or taking longer than you actually have to get to the ceremony site. This will most likely condense time allotted for photos
⭐️Hair and Makeup Running Long
make sure you work with your MUA to plan out your timeline so that if they are doing anyone else in your wedding party you are not last making it likely you are behind when you can go earlier and do touch ups as needed
⭐️Late Arrivals (Bridal Party or Vendors)
Anyone arriving late—photographer, officiant, bridal party members, ask for people to arrive 15 minutes before the desired time to insure unexpected delays
⭐️Photo Sessions Taking Longer Than Planned
Family members missing, bridal party not ready, or wanting more combinations than expected, your photographer will know what questions to ask to make sure they know how much time they need, make sure to reflect the time requested in your timeline
⭐️Last-Minute Timeline Changes
unexpected speeches, or adding events not originally planned, this is why it is important to consider every idea you have when planning to make sure you don’t feel like you forgot to add something that you may want to last minute
⭐️Missing Items
it could be rings, bouquets, marriage license, or décor pieces, making sure you are organized and have everything listed out for your wedding coordinator or who ever is setting up will insure you to not miss or forget anything
⭐️Poor Communication Among Vendors
make sure all of your vendors have the most up to date timeline the day of, it is easy to forget they have not been set the most up to date document when you send it over too early or they request it at booking
⭐️Timeline Not Realistic
working with your wedding coordinator and or vendors to make sure you are making a realistic timeline for everyone’s needs is important to make your day run smoothly.
