On Friday August 1st in Seattle 7 time NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson took Bill Muncey's Atlas Van Lines unlimited hydroplane, the Blue Blaster, for a drive around the Seafair race course. This was his first time driving an unlimited and his lap average was 5mph slower than Bill Muncey's winning speed at Seattle in that boat. Here are some of my shots of his lesson in the 1973 Pay 'n Pak and then him driving the Atlas.
