Life has a habit of coming full circle. Four years ago I quit my engineering job and sold everything to travel the world once yet again. I traveled through 20 or so countries this time from Asia to Europe and back again. I met some of the most amazing people of my life and experienced sights I thought I’d only see in magazines. Unlike my previous travels, I kept most of these experiences to myself, shying away from social media in search of a more authentic experience. Then came Covid, and the whole world turned upside down. Soon after I found myself in Tulum taking pictures of half naked women and actually getting paid for it. I’m guessing from the outside it appeared I was living the dream, and certain times I most definitely was. Fast forward to two months ago, the money was gone, and I was out of options. Return home and get a job or become a drug mule and end up on an episode of Locked Up Abroad. So here I am, new Subaru to explore in, new job designing rocket engines to return man to the moon, and headed to a place I’d never thought I’d live, Seattle. I may freeze to death come winter, but for now, summer is here, the sun is shining, and life is good…
