The Foxes Photography

The Foxes Photography Put simply, we're elopement photographers. We help plan, photograph, and document adventure weddings We are Brandon and Gabi Fox, hence, The Foxes.

We're an adventurous and nomadic husband and wife wedding photography team, operating from our 1972 Airstream that we live and travel in. Our work is best described as candid images of love and landscapes. We photograph weddings all over the Pacific Northwest, California, and pretty much anywhere west of the Rockies. The west is the best, what can we say? We’re the kind of photographers that’ll ha

ve a beer with you at the wedding. Not because we love good beer (we do), but because we’re going to be good friends by the time your wedding rolls around. We love meeting new couples and always make it a point to hang out before the wedding. Because we don’t want to just show up and take pictures; we want to have fun and join the party, camera in hand and always ready to capture a genuine moment. We keep things candid and natural, because honestly, who actually likes that awkward posed stuff? People in the 80s, that’s who. More about our work:

Kicked off the desert elopement season last week and we’re so here for it. This landscape offers so much for exploring and playing and creating and oohing and aahing. It’s a place where you’re picking your jaw up off the floor constantly. Just the way we like our elopement destinations 😏 Brandon heads down there next week for more desert elopement goodness, can’t wait! 🏜️

Saying their wedding vows in the real life painting that is the North Cascades 🎨 🏔️
These two saved their private vows for our sunset hike after having a forest ceremony with their guests earlier in the day. Don’t think they could have picked a better spot at a more perfect time to share this intimate moment. Then they sealed it with a shot of tequila 🤠 and we spent the rest of the afternoon wandering through this magical painting, laughing and exploring and creating some art of our own.

You ever see a place and immediately think… this is too beautiful to be real? Because Valerie just got back from capturing this elopement in Madeira, and when Brandon and I first saw these photos, that was exactly our reaction.

These two smiley jet setters actually got engaged in the Norwegian fjords (casual), and knew they wanted those same dramatic, wild views for their wedding day, but somewhere a liiiittle bit warmer ;) After a deep dive into the map (and probably 47 open tabs), they landed on Madeira because it’s basically sea cliffs, rainforest waterfalls, rugged mountains, and that perfect Mediterranean climate all packed in to one tiny place.

Most couples come to our team because we already know their location inside and out. But these two? They trusted us to go somewhere totally new. And honestly, when couples trust our team to photograph and plan a day in an entirely new place, it’s always a recipe for something incredibly magical.

Valerie went full research-nerd with satellite scouting, sun tracking, and studying microclimates. One of the best parts of this job is spending weeks and weeks studying a place through our photographer lens, planning what we think will be the most perfect day for our couples… and then finally standing there in real life, experiencing it for the first time. Getting to share that wide-eyed feeling with our couples? That’s the magic.

They spent the day doing the absolute most in the best way—sunrise on the cliffs, a hidden waterfall tucked deep in the forest for their ceremony, and a sunset up in the mountains with clouds rolling through like a full-on dream sequence. And in true world traveler fashion, K&M headed off to Morocco after this. because when you’re already across the Atlantic, why not add another country for the honeymoon?

Genuinely so blown away by the way Val captured these two and their adventure together. There’s so much variety and creativity throughout the entire day, but more than anything, you can feel K&M’s personalities in every photo. Such a cinematic representation of their day.

What a way to kick off the year. So stoked for all the adventures to come!

In honor of our favorite wedding guests (sorry humans, it’s not even close), we put together the ultimate blog post allll about eloping with the fur babies 🐾 If you’re on the fence about bringing your pup or wondering how to include them in the day, this one’s for you!

We rounded up all the best tips and tricks to share every paw step of the way, including our favorite pet-friendly elopement destinations, photo ops and dog wrangling tips, and even how to include pets who are staying back home. Plus lots more cutie dog photos 🐕

We’ve planned dozens and dozens of elopements with dogs (and the occasional unwilling cat) in tow, and they always bring so much fun energy to the day - as a team full of fellow pet parents, we’re love having pets along for the adventure and will 100% also be having a private photo session with your fur baby. Photographing these goofballs is truly a highlight of our job ❤️

This is what happens when two adventurers say “forget the venue, let’s just go to New Zealand.” Music to my ears, I tell you 🙌🏻😌

There’s something about New Zealand that feels like a fantastical fairy land where dragons, elves, and unicorns could be hiding around any corner. Grandiose mountains, glacier lakes filled with icebergs, tussock hills and wildflower meadows bursting with color… we could go on and on, but it’s one of the most special places in the world and it was the perfect backdrop for Damian and Amparo’s elopement!
Being huge hikers and world travelers, they were stoked to explore the trails throughout Mt. Cook National Park in search of epic views. The day was jam-packed with adventure as they hiked across swinging bridges, shared vows beneath Mt. Cook, cheers’ed champagne at sunset, and danced under twinkle lights back at their campervan. Check out our blog (link in bio) for the full story and photos of the incredible day we had out there!

P.S. I’ll be back in NZ in early 2027 and can’t wait to play tour guide for even more couples next year! -💕Hannah

Joshua Tree Elopements 😍

Zoe kicked off the Foxpack 2026 elopement season this week with this gorgeous day in Joshua Tree National Park. Absolutely love the modern architectural Airbnb these two stayed. It was the perfect spot to start the day and share a first look with their adorable pup!

Then they headed out to the desert with their guests to get married amongst the Joshua Trees, followed by sunset explorations through rocky corridors and boulder outcroppings with little pops of color from the wildflowers.

The evening was spent hanging with their loved ones, enjoying a cozy dinner + cocktails under the stars. Truly an iconic day in this special place ✨

Playing in the magical evening light of the North Cascades, WA ✨

We’ll never forget the first sunset we witnessed here. Gabi and I looked at each other and couldn’t wait to come back and create with our couples and share this experience with them.

Years later it still hits the same. The way the light rays shine through the valley with that dreamy haze. The 360 degree panoramic summit views over the sea of peaks surrounding you. The cute mountain goats that occasionally wander up to say hi…so many things that make this one of our favorite places to take our couples to close out their wedding day.

We had so much fun with these two, just playing in the light and exploring the landscape while creating these images. Every time we’re up there it seems we find new ways to photograph it. These mountains are so inspiring and every sunrise and sunset offers something a little different than the last. Getting very excited for mountain elopement season again soooooon!

A big mix of wild days, happy couples lovin’ on each other, all in some of the world’s best places to elope 🥰❤️‍🔥

So often, our couples come to us having no idea where they want to get married. All they know is they want it to be wild, epic, beautiful, and easygoing (because marrying your best friend shouldn’t be a stressful day), but the where and when are totally open. We love walking them through all the best places to elope, what makes each one so special, and how their day could unfold in each of these destinations.

Helping people narrow in on that special spot is honestly one of my favorite parts of this job. We just love sharing all our years of experience in these places with others.

Here’s a peek at some of the wild places we’ve planned elopements over the years 🗺️💍 So lucky to have experienced so many incredible days with incredible couples out in some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.

In this set, we’ve got Utah, Costa Rica, Thailand, Washington, Oregon, Norway, Alaska, California, Kauai, Iceland, Italy, and Colorado (not necessarily in that order)… and we’re stoked to shoot in even more new places this year!

Different scenes from days on the Oregon Coast over the years 🥰 Theres just so much variety in the landscape out here and the feeling you get running around this rugged stretch of coastline is so wild and free. You can be barefoot on the sand, weaving between massive sea stacks, wandering high along the cliffs where the coastline drops straight into the ocean, and wander through mossy forests filled with giant ferns, all within minutes of each other. Every version of this place shows up beautifully. It’s wild, rugged, and romantic in all the right ways ✨💫

Hannah just shared her day with these two up on the blog and we had to share here too! From sunrise over Half Dome to sunset over El Capitan, Tyler and Chris’ Yosemite elopement was full of quiet moments, big views, tasty cake, and just the right amount of adventure. They traveled all the way from Kansas City in search of “gobsmacking views” and Yosemite absolutely delivered ;)

When we’re trying to help our couples pick where they want to elope, we always like to describe the feeling of each place they’re considering. And eloping at Mount Rainier feels “romantic”. There’s just something about it, the way the mountain rises straight out of the landscape, the softness of the wildflower meadows, the light clouds that tend to swirl in and out of the park, the way sunset fades from orange to pink to purple before the starts start to come out... its just romantic 🥰

We’ve been planning and photographing elopements here since 2017, and after many, many days in this park, we’ve learned so much about how it actually works. How the seasons shift, how the park has changed over the years, how permits and access work, how crowds move, and how the weather and microclimates can be wildly different from one side of the park to the other. All of that knowledge gets woven into the way we plan elopement days, so things feel smooth, intentional, and grounded instead of stressful or rushed.

Wildflower season will always have our hearts. Late July through mid-August feels like Rainier at its most playful, with meadows in full bloom and color everywhere you look. But late summer and early fall are just as special in a quieter, more peaceful way. September in particular feels romantic in a different sense. Fewer people, softer light, hints of fall color, and a calmer energy that lets you really soak it all in.

What keeps us inspired, even after all these years, is that Rainier is never the same twice. The light changes constantly. Clouds drift in and out. Weather moves through quickly. You can turn in a full circle and see completely different landscapes in every direction. Creating here with our couples feels playful, creative, and alive every single time.

And honestly, the very best part will always be watching our couples experience this park for the first time. That quiet awe. That look of wonder. That moment where everything else fades away and it’s just the two of them in this huge, beautiful place ✨
