Thank you, Japan. It was a great taikai.

Thank you to the AJKF and all the supporting sensei who made it possible for me to be here and capture these moments through my camera.

Congratulations to Team Japan on taking first place. Over the years, I’ve watched many countries improve tremendously, and I believe the overall level of competition at this tournament was the highest I’ve seen.

Now it’s time to relax for a few days. I’ll start properly editing and sharing photos once I get home.

Taikai started with 3 Dan and below competition. Open division starting soon. Few shots from this morning.

Nice practice in Musashino with Kurokami sensei. Now one day rest and relax and then get ready to take pictures at taikai this weekend.

Full house at Koubukan with Ozawa sensei. Team Philippines also showed up for practice before this weekend taikai. Good luck in there!

Also got to try my new bogu for the first time.

When sensei asks if you want to join morning keiko, the correct response is "what time?". Great practice with many strong senseis. Thank you Ishida sensei for always working to improve my kendo.
