i remember bAcK iN mY dAy how stoked i was for updates, improvements, & changes & now i purposefully avoid phone updates (which actually saved me for a little bit because an update google pushed soft-bricked hundreds to thousands of pixel phones, mine included!) & i would much rather have one thing last years than update it yearly. also, they keep stuffing everything with ai & it's becoming harder & harder to dodge it. i sure hope instagram loves their little app filled with bots pretending to be real people from images of those living & passed. nothing weird about that!!

happy pride month, lovelies! this is the hopeful beginning of a new way of posting, as the previous way felt too restrictive over time. there were so many odd shots in sets that didn't "fit" in the row but i still absolutely loved, so this is their redemption arc.

maybe also redemption arc of my own! less so villain, more so finding something that works for me & my fluctuating disabilities while also feeling fulfilling. speaking of villains, however, we'll see how i mentally fare feeding the m*ta beast in a photography app that feels less & less like it's for photography. i'm not looking to win "bestest photographer guy" but i do want to find similar folks who see things how i do & to share that. i also want to find artists in this new city i have been in for about 2 years! there's so much good stuff out there but i can't find it if i'm hiding under a rock.
