Part One: Discovery Park Workshop (Oct 14, 7-9pm)
This cinematic horror photography workshop is set against the forests, trails, and historic landscapes of Seattle’s Discovery Park. Inspired by Southern Gothic horror, classic vampire films, werewolf folklore, and the eerie beauty of the Pacific Northwest, Zeus Ramirez | Cinematographer will guide you as build scenes that feel pulled from a forgotten horror film candlelit rituals in the woods, mysterious figures emerging from the darkness, vampires wandering through the night, and the possibility of something much worse hiding just outside the frame. We’ll focus on practical lighting, atmosphere, composition, movement, and in-camera effects to create images that feel haunting and cinematic rather than staged. The goal is to create photos that tell a story and leave something unexplained.
