Somewhere along the line wedding videos got so good, so sharp, so smooth, and so stylish that we lost a bit of the charm of the home movies of our parents’ and grandparents’ weddings. In those days Uncle Bob wasn’t filming poses in a field or dresses hanging in windows, he was trying to get you to smile and wave or ham it up for the camera. He was filming grandma with the grandkids.
We’ve always tried to make our wedding films feel natural and authentic, but now we are going a step further and offering the option to give a Hi8 camcorder to your guests to gather that old-school home movie footage. We’ll edit it together with our beautiful 4k cinematic footage to give you the best of both worlds.
