Senior year, but make it feel like a scene you’ll want to live in forever. 🤍🌾✨

Golden light. Lavender fields. Bare feet. Cowboy boots. A vintage truck. And that little bit of I’m about to take on the whole world energy.

This is exactly why I love senior sessions, they’re not just about documenting what you look like right now. They’re about capturing who you are in the tiny moment between everything you’ve known and everything that’s coming next.

And this session at Wayward Winds Lavender Farm?! An absolute DREAM. 💜

POV: you booked family photos and accidentally signed everyone up for field day. 😂

There was running.
There was yelling.
There was questionable coordination.
There were adults taking their sheet-holding responsibilities VERY seriously.
And somehow… we also took family photos. 😂

10/10 would recommend letting your kids absolutely send it during your session.

Because apparently all you need for adorable family photos is a giant white sheet, a little competitive energy, and me standing there like:

“YESSSS. DO IT AGAIN.” 📸😂

This family understood the assignment.

I think this might be what summer is supposed to feel like. ☀️

Bare feet in the grass.
Running through sprinklers.
Soaked clothes.
Sunlight hitting the water just right.
A little boy laughing so hard his whole body can’t contain it.
And a mama right there laughing with him. 🥹

No perfect poses. No worrying about getting dirty. No asking him to smile at the camera.

Just PLAY.

And somehow, in the middle of all that chaos, we captured the kind of photos that make you want to freeze time.

Because these are the summers they’ll remember.

And these are the little versions of them you’ll miss someday. 🤍

I’m officially convinced we need more family sessions that end with wet hair, dirty feet, belly laughs and kids asking, “Can we do it again?!”

It was such an honor to spend time with these talented, kind, genuine, and inspiring young women. Watching their personalities shine through every smile, laugh, and joyful moment was the real magic. Their confidence, grace, and friendship made this session one I’ll never forget. 💕

Every family session has that kid.

The one who casually steals the entire show without even trying.

One minute he’s running around being a toddler.

The next minute he’s leaning on a fence looking like he just signed a modeling contract.

No coaching.
No bribery.
No directions.

Just pure toddler confidence.

And honestly? Those are the photos parents end up loving most years later.
