It’s my birthday! Year 36 was one of my favorites ever. It’s the year that made me a momma. It marked the end of my spontaneous, independent lifestyle and the beginning of this even wilder ride into parenthood.

Grateful. Tired. Amazed by the way life unfolds.

Oh friends. The last couple of months with baby have been a blur. This motherhood thing is pretty all-consuming, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
That does mean, though, that I’ve gotten way behind on email for the first time in a decade 😱 so I am so grateful for your patience if you’ve been trying to get in touch that way. I hope to sneak some laptop time in soon and check in on my clients! I’ve been thinking about you!
I also have so much work from 2019 that I’d love love love to share with you and just haven’t had the bandwidth. (Parents, you get it, I’m sure!) I’m setting an intention to do a ‘best of’ blog post in the next week or two. If baby allows. Wish me luck! 🤪

Just delivered the last image gallery I had on my list to complete before baby joins us any day! 😭😃💃🏽 It always feels amazing to work fully through my editing queue, and this time it’s so fun to have wrapped up with this sibling session that I had the pleasure of photographing just as the leaves were starting to think about turning.
This sibling duo was so great because they let their personalities shine through, so I was able to get little moments of them being themselves, as well as some less silly ones for mom! I wish I had a photo of myself giving my brother a nuggie. Photographers: here’s your reminders to make the photos you wish you had for yourself!

I have the most wonderful clients ever! Bonnie handmade her gorgeous wedding dress (!) and the couple honored their wedding party and guests by creating thoughtful details, gifts, and moments that left me in awe all day. Posting some of my favorite images from yesterday, but so many more to come.

I photographed their wedding two years ago (yay!) and then they moved away (boo!) but then they came back to visit and I got to snuggle their cuuute baby (yay!) so it’s all good.
